We are expanding to serve more markets, and we are looking for a Logistics Executive, who will work closely with the Operations Team to explore new shipping partners, manage existing partner relations, and update import duties and sales taxes rules for international imports in key markets.
In this role you will:
Work closely with the Operations Team and COO to maintain business relations with Logistics Partners; periodically review Logistics volume, and damage claim processes.
Assist in price negotiations with Logistics Partners, both current and potential new providers
Work with Logistics partners to open new shipping lanes, and achieve better rates based on volume projections
Assist with Logistics Bill reconciliation to ensure no overbilling
Research, document and keep-up-to-date on import taxes, taxes applicable across key consumer markets
What we are looking for someone:
With 1-2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain function, preferably in an ecommerce environment.
Who responds promptly and leaves a positive impression from email/call communications.
Who can work effectively with teammates.
Can read and write effectively in English and at least one of these languages - Chinese, Korea, Japanese.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
